OOC: Rufus has suggested Jarrek apply to Mularik's Company and said he would ensure the application is successful.

However, I've just glanced at the rules and noted that applying to join a regiment is a weekly action. If we're off to the front in week 1 that suggests that it's now too late to change regiment unless Rufus pre-confirming the appointment makes the process quicker?

No, as it’s a weekly order it’s now too late.

Leaving a regiment as it’s about to leave for the front is frowned upon, and might be cause for court martial.

Seems entirely fair.

Assuming both Mularik's Company and Jarrek survive at the front, he'll apply after both return!
