Duration of Lover's Influence?

In Chapter 11 of the Rules, entitled Influence, it says, "Favours from lovers are per year." Is that duration for a calendar year (Expires at the end of Late Storm Season) or is it a year from the date/month when you took the lover (Which varies)?
