Applying for Two Appointments

Just wondered if we would be allowed to apply for two different appointments in the same month. Is this legitimate? And if both were approved, would I then get the chance to choose which one I wanted? With that said, in the unlikely event that both were accepted, if one was a civilian appointment and the other military, would having one necessarily exclude keeping the other?

Yes, it's legitimate. However, you must rank them in order of preference.

You can only have one appointment. If you accept a second appointment you will resign from your first.
