This means that if you don't use your lover's influence, you get a new set of favours (influence) after a year without losing any unused. They stack.Rules wrote:Characters may save favours received from NPCs indefinitely, and those received from lovers for the duration of the relationship. All other favours may not be saved beyond the Period in which they are received.

Lovers' influence renew when the relationship has lasted a year.
