Upon the sacred beard of Lankhor Mhy, that was one hell of a fight BUT he had won, triumph and glory were his over that accursed Colymar rogue Afur!!
Ok, so Afur had been good enough to invite him to a party, and paid for the drinks, plus ignored the fact that socially he couldn't join such an Inn - come to think of it he couldn't join any Inn - and given him a heap of kudos in the process BUT, I mean, he'd been so insulting and young Broar could only guess that it had all been a 'stitch-up' deliberately staged so that Afur could humiliate him and be seen as some sort of top-notch warrior to everyone there....yes, that had to be it....well, that had sure backfired and the honour of the Malani tribe had been preserved! That took the smile off dumb Afur's face, along with part of his nose and a bit of his left ear, so he won't be so keen to try that again in the near future.
Mind you, he'd not exactly got off unharmed himself, what with the loss of those three fingers on his left hand, half of the right buttock gone, the two missing bottom front teeth and then there was the less than insignificant matter of the hole in his side where it appeared one of the kidneys was hanging out, at least he thought it was a kidney, perhaps it was some part of the intestine or appendix or something? Either way surely it was supposed to be inside instead of hanging down by his waist like an empty purse!
Luckily he still had a heap of money left from that dead Lunar Officer he'd plundered on the battle field last month so he ought to go and find one of those Chalana Arroy types and get himself patched up, all this blood that was still leaking out was making one hell of a mess and probably the cause of why he felt so light-headed and kept passing out every few minutes. Once that was all sorted out time to makes plans for the coming month and to have a serious ponder how to also teach that Erik lout a lesson too as he had been trying to get a challenge in immediately after the Afur business, sneaky git!
Now, which way to the Chalana Arroy temple and....yuk....yukky...what was all that mushy red stuff at the top of his sword hilt..?? Oh, gosh..really...was that a bit of Afur he'd forgotten to wipe off!
