This involves the new skill Courtcraft (working name) added to all characters by a 1D6 roll.

Titles
Julian, Garoor, Grumbold and Torben are invited to receive their new titles at the Royal Spring Feast in week 4 of 1633 - 2 (Early Sea Season).

Baron Rufus will be considered for the title of Drighten.

The Blossoming of Bonds
In week 4 of 1632-02 (Early Sea Season) the Feathered Horse Queen Inkarne "Reaches All" holds the Royal Spring Feast.

All titled nobles in Boldhome are expected to attend. In addition, all initiates or higher in the cults of Ernalda and Orlanth are welcome (but not required) to attend.

A Feast of Fertility, Love, and New Beginnings.
This spring feast celebrates Ernalda’s return from the Underworld, the rekindling of life, the union of Earth and Sky, and the bonds of kinship and alliance that ensure the land’s prosperity.

The Feathered Horse Queen, as Ernalda’s incarnation, blesses not only the land but also marriages, oaths of friendship, and pacts of loyalty made under her gaze.

There will be no duelling during the Queen's Spring Feast. However, if cause for a duel is earned, the duel will take place at the beginning of 1633 - 3 (Late Sea Season).

The Spring Tokens
Upon entering, each guest must deliver a flower token in a ceremonial basket:

• Red tokens symbolize passion — wearers are expected to dance and flirt.
• White tokens symbolize peace — wearers act as peacemakers and mediators.
• Green tokens symbolize renewal — wearers pledge a deed or quest for the coming year.

If no colour is specified in orders the GM will randomize one. Guests must act according to their tokens all evening.

The Queen’s Blessing of Bonds
Any engagements, alliances, or sworn friendships declared publicly at the feast receive the Queen’s symbolic blessing: a political advantage for those seeking power or love (+1 once when attempting to fulfill the declaration (courting a lover or seeking an appointment)).

The bold may even swear heroic quests before her; the Queen offers tokens of favor to such oaths. (+1 to Power skill roll during any HeroQuest performed next Sacred Time, or to the skill roll involved in a Cult Mission made 1633).

The best poem, song, or deed gains the creator an additional CP. (Decided by a Courtcraft, Battle or Power skill roll)

The loss of Erinestra is a great blow for Boldhome. I was thinking of pledging to lead the LightBringers Quest next Sacred Time to bring our friend back to us. However, I would want to hear from her family first, to know if that would be her wish.

Announcement: With all due respect for her years of faithful service in the Great Temple of Orlanth in Boldhome, it is becoming apparent that the advancing years are taking a heavy toll on Priestess Ada Yelasdaughter and calling her effectiveness into question. She has been seen dozing off during ceremonies, as well as getting confused when navigating the halls of the Great Temple, and her memory lapses are becoming more frequent, causing uncomfortable pauses in liturgical recitations. Assistant Priest Quatlu Carasilson therefore gently and respectfully calls for her retirement and resignation from the active priesthood.
