King Argrath and his court will be at the front this coming war season (1630 - 6). ((Influence can be used to persuade him to take command of the troops, or not.))

Several nobles are looking for aides (see rules on Civilian Appointments).

Friends and relatives of Malvolio, a prisoner of war, are trying to find sponsors for his ransom (900L).

They would also appreciate a rescue party (see rules on Capture).

Word reaches me, in my hospital bed, that various Nobles are looking for Aides?

Well , they need look no further as I am sure I'd be able to oblige, especially as the wages are 10 lunars a month!! That's as much as my father earns in 3 months, and that's 3 good months, so I'm up for a bit of 'Aiding' if there's some going. I have to admit I don't actually know any nobles, per say, but surely some must of heard of me what with me being a famous duelist now and a war hero after surviving those few months at the Front recently...plus I bought a nice new set of fancy clothes and a wonderful hat last month with some of the plunder loot...looking really smart these days, if I say so myself!

I guess I'll just continue laying here, recovering, and wait for the offers to come rolling in.

Your august sir, as we enter into the next phase of this years campaign, and with signs that the King himself may lead us into battle, I would be honoured if you would consider me for the position of Aide to Warchief, to your good self, especially in appreciation that you are standing in for our recently lost Warlord, may Orlanth's blessing be upon them!
