I remember an old RuneQuest supplement "What my father said" (I think it was, maybe it was something else). One of the headings was "Neighbours and Other Enemies".

The talk of tribal hostilities and my recent marriage conversion to Princeros had me glancing at the tables considering tribal and cult hostilities.

I note that two potential lovers (it used to be four!) worship the Seven Mothers, which are hostile to virtually all the main players cults in Boldhome (Orlanth, Storm Bull, Eurmal, Maran Gor). Yet there do not seem to be any consideration of what happens if a player goes to a public event with their persona-non-grata consort in tow.

(Edit: I've spotted now that you're just blocked from courting if you are in a hostile cult)

There's a (maybe) surprising number of Seven Mothers worshipers in Sartar, a consequence of the 20 year long Lunar occupation.

Lovers do not cause duels due to their tribe, cult or CHA.
