Re: Tribal hostilities at ceremonies

I would like to see more duelling, but I understand the problem of potentially losing a character to a single hit.

Re: A New Year at the Pea Pod

"We must hope that the gods return Julian to us." agreed Erik. "But should they not - well we may need to consider a rescue attempt next month". He turned to Ararg with a smile. "Well young Ararg, you will be welcome to Mularik's Company for the Summer Campaign. And you will...

Re: A New Year at the Pea Pod

"Fionn, that reminds me. Whilst I have improved my battle skills thanks to the recent Heroquest, I feel I need to study a little more. Are you planning on running courses this month at the Military Academy? I was thinking of studying in the 2nd and 3rd weeks, and I could use some of your expert...

Re: A New Year at the Pea Pod

Erik has been musing on his upcoming first ceremony at the temple of Orlanth as a leader. "Part of the ceremony can involve my praising someone worthy, or condemning someone unworthy. Now, had she survived, I think I would have praised Ondurga - and I shall give our late sister an eulogy. As it...

Re: Heroquests

Having only one heroquest per sacred time makes sense lore wise, as it's a community effort to back up the heroquester(s) with ceremonies and sacrifices. An alternative to having the cult leaders decide on the heroquest would be to allow anyone to order a heroquest. If several quests are ordered, t...

There were definite signs that spring was well and truly here as Erik walked through the streets of Boldhome towards his favourite little tavern. The housewives had opened the wooden shutters on their windows and taken down the thick, heavy, winter drapes designed to keep the bitter cold out of thei...

Re: Heroquests

There seems to be little incentive to go on a Heroquest with other players, other than the potential to get a boost to your power if they get a good power roll (if lower ranked) or have a higher power (if higher ranked). Otherwise it is often better to do it solo for the +4 bonus as leader. Perhaps ...

Request to Erinestra

My dear Erinestra, I require a new set of clothes to wear at the upcoming Tarkala's Spring Love Feast. Now when I offered to buy a set for my lady Yealla she told me that she preferred to buy her own outfit because, (and I quote) "Men are useless at choosing clothes". I was also told, in n...
